Why did I choose to continue my education?
The Covid-19 pandemic has halted many aspects of people’s lives including my own; however, as I await on job opportunities, I thought I would take this time for myself to engage in online learning and develop more skills that could potentially make me more marketable in the field of Journalism.

1. Search Engine Optimization Fundamentals
I completed the Search Engine Optimization Fundamentals course on 3 September 2020. The course is authorised by the University of California, Davis – USA offered through Coursera. After completion of this course, I developed knowledge in On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, and Technical Optimization.
2. What is Social?
I completed the What is Social – MOOC 1 course on 13 September 2020. The course was authorised by Northwestern University offered through Coursera. After completion of this course, I developed knowledge in digital trends, learned about how to grow my professional network, engaged in discussion board questions, and developed a plan on how to best reach my high-value market.
The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing
I completed The Fundamentals of Digital Marketing course on 7 September 2020. The course is accredited by Google Digital Garage. After completion of this course, I developed an understanding of online success, Search Engine Optimization, getting noticed on social media, advertising tactics, how to track and measure traffic using analytics, and International Marketing.

In this course, LinkedIn CEO Jeff Weiner interviewed with CEO, Producer, Actress, and Innovator Oprah Winfrey. After completing this course, I learned three key things: I need to define my vision (what is my why), know what my intention is, and manifest in what you want by acting with intention.
