Lindsey Alder, head of news at Quidem Radio, offered me a work experience with Quidem Radio at the 96.2 touchfm station from July 16-19, 2019.
My duties were as follows:
- Learn about everything that goes into creating daily radio news updates from reporters Paul Bradbury, Lindsey Alder, Isaac Johnson, and Lauren Tiller.
- Write radio scripts.
- Practice my radio voice by recording radio news updates using the Burli audio editing software.
- Research, write and provide assistance for a news story for the Touch FM Coventry Facebook page.
