Two-way report on the Proposal of a New Birmingham Police & Crime Commissioner

Featured below: Radio two-way between Professor Bob Calver and myself – Jessica Quinlan – the reporter.

The radio two-way is based on a consultation proposal, which began in January 2019 on the future of leadership of the West Midlands Police from 2020.

The proposal involves a shift, moving the Police and Crime Commissioner duties to Mayor Andy Street.

There has been high controversy whether or not this would be a good idea for Mayor Andy Street to take on this role as well as handle his mayoralty duties.
